Ah, so those 250 million streams are still bolstered by hotline bling and the other singles: Drake “Sold” 1.2M Copies Of Views Only Thanks To Old “Hotline Bling” Streams
I'm still don't understand how 250 millions streams only equals a couple hundred thousand "sales." Seems like such a low percentage.
They've gotta scale it that way so sales numbers don't get unrealistically high (or more than they already do)
Although doing the math out still only turns out 166k from streams, so if the 1.2 mil figure is correct then he still cracked a million
Does RIAA count youtube streams? Cause that article above claims Hotline Bling has 400 Million Spotify streams and 700 million youtube streams, so doesnt that mean the album has more than 250 million total streams?
this is cool, its a couple years old, but its an interview with this super sweet lady from georgia who was drakes vocal coach from right after so far gone through at least 2014 http://jezebel.com/a-chat-with-dionne-osborne-the-vocal-coach-who-changed-1658044149
That's super interesting, I understand all the shortening beacause at 1:21, the digital version wouldn't fit on a CD, but the changes unrelated to track lengths are interesting
Pretty crazy how much this album has grown on me. I'd say this is just about equal to Nothing Was the Same for me. Still not up there with Take Care though and it never will be.
