I groaned out loud when pop style came on and I realized Kanye was gone and I still have like 20 minutes left
Idk exactly what I expected Views to be based off of what Drake was describing but this isn't it I've liked more songs than I disliked, very few stick out on first listen and the length is felt
20 songs is unnecessary I'll probably never listen to this front to back outside of my first listen today I like 9 Feel No Ways Hype and Weston Road Flows thus far
I basically expected it to be more...triumphant? Like the most undeniable product he's made yet (or a complete flop). Instead this is kind of "just" another drake album. Not the best one or the worst one.
Exactly, and perhaps that's why I'm underwhelmed a bit even when I do enjoy a lot of it. This was building up to be his opus, but it just slides in the catalog. Definitely like it better than IYRTITL
yeah i mean i like it! i dont love it on first pass because he still needs an editor to chop these tracklistings down and he somehow has slid backwards in terms of his lyricism it felt like. but thats off one listen.
Just got to One Dance and I like almost everything on here so far but this one's easily my favourite. I'd love it if he made a whole album of stuff like this and Hold On at some point, I'd be so into it.
Midway through my first morning listen. Man, he hyped this up way too much for me to have an honest reaction.
I really liked that first track. Definitely looking forward to how the rest of this plays out. The production on the first two tracks is gorgeous.
Hate his mellow songs which is most of this album. I dont need to hear him talking to me. He was at his best when releasing bangers. Few good songs in the 2nd half, other than that nothing to see here.
"Grammys" is definitely one of the weaker tracks. I don't need to hear anymore Drake & Future collaborations tbh
Really interested in those songs that have nothing to do with Views that he mentioned in the Zane interview. Wonder if he's got another tape in the pipeline or just more loosies.
