One Dance just completely does not interest me, have felt no desire to go back to it after spinning it a few times when it dropped.

Same. I like just about all the other singles released so far, except One Dance.

Physical albums won't come out till May 6 apparently. I don't understand those types of moves.

 

Whoa, I got so used to VFT6.

 

We live in a digital world now. Immediate gratification like Beyonce (not as much Drake though) requires physical later. It's literally impossible to "surprise" drop a physical album, only digital.

In Drake's case, I feel like maybe he was just working on the album very recently, like Kanye did, so the time to make the physical wasn't possible like it is for digital.

 

I like pop style

and I ain't need a bunch of plastic cd cases taking up shelf space

 

Almost definitely to prevent a leak before he premieres it on his show. If stores had physicals it probably would be out there at this point.

 

and like also physical sales are low and stuff

 

itunes is much better then buying physical

I agree with everything said. I think you also lose some sales without the physical out. Not much anymore I guess. Only a week wait though, hopefully it gets on vinyl eventually.

 

It it were possible to surprise release digital and physical on the same day, that would be the best case scenario. But it literally isn't possible. You could PLAN to release the two on the same date, but the physical would definitely lead to a leak ahead of release
