Well to be fair to him, this genre has now become so oversaturated that everything is bound to start sounding the same and unoriginal

 

Michael sounds a lot like the Weeknd on this haha

 

Of all the things Drake could have done with an unrealeased MJ vocal, what he did is incredibly underwhelming

 

emotionless is peak drake

 

They butchered it hard

 

Sandra's Rose tho

 

I enjoy a good amount of this. But as a whole, it really is just a snapshot of 2018 Drake and what he's capable of. There's no overarching sonic theme or unifying thread that defines the album-- it's just a good, easily-digestible collection of songs. Some really boring ones, but then again, others have stated their enjoyment of those songs in this thread. So there's something for everyone, I guess.

Yea like there's a solid album in here that you can whittle down to

 

It’s better than views but I don’t think it’s as interesting as more life

 

I'm starting to think this is a pretty pretty good record

Yeah, "Ratchet Happy Birthday" is a hard pass, but I actually really like "Peak," oops

 

The 5+ seconds of silence at the end of "Nice for What" is a strange choice

 

Mob Ties causing the tin foil hat community to think Drake May have had something to do with XXX death

 

Why is p4k writing about random songs on here without giving any bnt?

 

You could've told me that MJ feature was The Weeknd and I'd have believed you.

 

I wish he never released Nice For What as a single. The reactions would have been wild hearing it for the first time on this album.

 

Bit gutted after Nice For What, thought there would be a lot more beats like Nice For What but there isn't really. Maybe Emotionless is closest to it.

I actually quite like this. I am a bit drunk right now so my opinion might change, but I think it's pretty cool

Listened to first half this morning on the way to work and will listen to second on the way home. About as good as you'd think a 25 track Drake album would be so far but I'm still hoping for something close to as good as Feel No Ways
