He mentions the son like 3 times throughout it and then caps it off with March 14 being entirely about him PUSHA FUCKIN DID IT
I actually enjoy this album. The standouts after my first listen were Nonstop, 8 Out of Ten, Sandra's Rose and Summer Games.
As expected, this album is just...there with moments of excitement. This is just who Drake is, a coaster who shows occasional experimentation to make it just interesting enough. I like this, but he basically just proved that he's the most boring rap "king" of all time.
Going in order, I'm on only on track 10 of disc 1. So far I'm actually enjoying most of it, definitely some boring ones, but I also know I won't be listening to it in full probably ever again. As far as I can tell, there's no thought to the sequencing on this at all.
disc 1 is cohesive but only has a few really big moments, one of which is gods plan which weve had for a while. the first few tracks kind of drag on and on. doesnt really hit its stride til 8 out of 10. disc 2 is a mess with some of the best moments but some of the most brutal to get through (peak, finesse). i think that its an easier listen than, say, culture 2, but not nearly as good as sr3mm. to compare to other long projects in the genre this year.
this album length is brutal. but it's not a bad album. but i'm bored with it and still have seven tracks to go.
Just a casual fan, but so far this has been really enjoyable. Chill, cool record. Usually there’s a few songs I dig and most I don’t, but even the ones I’m not feeling on Scorpion I still like.
