I feel like a little bit of Take Care has aged badly the last time I went back to listen but NWTS is flawless imo. Connect being my favorite song.

 

NWTS is at least his tightest work

 

Pound Cake tho. Probably my favorite Drake tune.

I was addicted to NWTS for a minute. Like for a summer. Only Drake album that ever did that to me.

 

when every rapper remixes pound cake was cool

 

Jay's verse on Pound Cake was so bad

 

NWTS opens with "Tuscan Leather," has "Furthest Thing," "Wu-Tang Forever," "Worst Behavior," "From Time," "Hold On, We're Going Home," "Too Much," and closes with "Pound Cake" in under an hour. Of course it's his best album

“Come Thru” and “All Me” are also both great sans Big Sean’s horrible verse. And “All Me” has two of the funniest rap lines ever: 2 Chainz pronouncing “Givenchy” like a sneeze, and Drake “I’m on a roll like Cottonelle, I was made for all of this shit”

 

also 2 Chainz saying "my dick so hard it make the metal detector go off" as if metal detectors measure hardness is an all-timer

 

As much as I love NWTS, it just doesn't touch Take Care. But not many albums do imo

 

I love NWTS and Take Care but Take Care wins for me. They both have a few songs I’d cut if I’m being honest

 

Pound cake is easily the best beat drakes ever had

I love Big Sean's verse in "All Me". It's so goofy and stupid. When he busts out that flow that never really finds the beat? *Kisses fingers* That whole song is a perfect exercise in ridiculous ignorance.

NWTS is the best Drake album.

 

Nah it’s stupid but not even in a funny way like 2 Chainz’s is. Plus he tries to fit in all these super corny sincere lines that don’t fit at all

 

I raise you a Nice For What on that one.
