What do I need to get real about?

Disagree, Thank Me Later has aged very poorly

 

These are my favorite Drake features and probably 3 of my 5 favorite songs with Drake on them.

EDIT: Also ‘Right Above It’ and ‘Fuckin’ Problems’

 

I would put ‘Work’ on there but he’s terrible on that one

 

I've seen a few people say "aged poorly" do you mean the production, the lyrics or what?

 

What a time to be alive should be no lower than 4.

 

Made this list and still feel the same. Guess I forgot WATTBA last time, I’d put that above Thank Me Later but in the same tier as it

 

This ranking is fun because he has such a range of musical quality. It's definitely clear that my tastes in his music have changed right around Scorpion.

Thank Me Later starts off with Fireworks so it's already outclassing the last 3 albums with that song alone.

 

I'm sorry, but having NWTS anywhere but in your top two is certifiably insane

 

Take Care gets too much hype. I personally don't think it's aged well.

 

not to me! that album is overrated by his fanbase because he made a concise project with an arc and it has about 4 of his best 20 songs on it.

- I have never liked "own it" and especially "305 to my city".
- "started from the bottom" and "worst behavior" were fun to rap along to in 2013 but are not songs I want to hear in 2023.
- "connect" is one of his worst R&B songs from the first decade of his career, but it sounds better in retrospect because his music has gotten further away from my tastes.
- "tuscan leather" has never been a good first track to me despite the solid rapping. I've always felt album tracklist should've started with "furthest thing", which is one of his best songs.
- I'd put it higher if the deluxe tracks replaced "own it" and "305 to my city". there's definitely a better tracklist from his loosies at the time that would put it into his top 3 for me.

 

Only part of that I agree with is 305 to my city definitely sucks lol

 

The Motion absolutely is one of the best songs too, so yes it would be a good addition to the track list

 

"tuscan leather," "too much," and "pouind cake" gotta be three of his top five songs lol

 

NWTS has aged horribly lol about half the album is great and half of it fucking sucks

"Thank Me Later" is still great. Almost a total vibe, but it does kind of suck that it ends on its worst song.

I like HN too, massively overhated

 

I decided to separate the album into two half’s just because I don’t wanna do a hour and a half of Drake right now. Out of the first 12 songs I only really liked 5.

Virginia Beach, Amen, First Person Shooter, IDGAF, Screw The World interlude.

I probably like calling for you if I didn’t have to hear like 2 minutes of pointless stuff before I heard 21 Savage’s good verse.
