Just incredible how little we care about a Drake album at this point. He’s been washed for so long.

 

The sentiment here is still an extreme minority opinion though, this is still gonna go number 1 and set streaming records. Especially with J Cole and Bad Bunny Features

 

And that is why Drake got lazy

I remember the days when the first song on a Drake album would hit different

this one I’m just kinda bored

 

And this will still go #1 with ease

 

I honestly won't listen to this for a few weeks, too many other new albums that I want to hear

J Cole feature is great, rest of this album sucks. I keep trying each album but I'm pretty much out on him at this point. Some great production though for sure

 

Listening to everything post maybe “Scorpion,” it’s all so slow and depressing.

He leans hard into the machismo/bravado and the way he talks about women needing to be good girls and how he’s always judging them - it works for someone like Future or early Weeknd because the theme of a lot of their music was “Ooh wee. I’m a real depressed piece of shit whose incapable of love.” Where Drake clearly thinks very highly of himself.

I really don’t see how it’s sustained his career this long where every album still goes to number one. Like “Slime You Out” has to be one of the worst singles of the year and it’s huge.

 

Views was the last one I thought was pretty ok

 

The bad bunny song is the worst thing I’ve heard

 

MIA was a certified hit and this one was legit garbage

 

Just put that song on and someone needs to slap drake for whatever the fuck he is doing on this.

 

Well they’re gonna make bank off of that, hopefully. I remember how Sisqo continues to lose a ton of money for not originally giving credit to “Livin La Via Loca” in “Thong Song.”
