yeah but it reminds me of a time when drake would play pretend in his music and it was good and cool

I'm only 8 tracks in but that's easily the one that we're gonna see so many articles and "takeaways" and "breakdowns" and other dumb shit about

in terms of intriguing moments, that and future singing "im too sexy" is about all there is to chew on

“You Only Live Twice” is like the only song with any kind of energy.

I actually looked through all the credits earlier but didn't see anything particularly interesting, definitely didn't notice that if true

probably a sample or reference/inspiration? the state of who's getting publishing in pop music right now is pretty bad and can happen from the tiniest little thing. like olivis rodrigo preemptively giving taylor swift writing and then later paramore getting it from good 4 u for vague inspiration/references

  14. Jay Z verse was v good

I feel like this album has been on for at least a few hours and I still have 11 songs left, I'm not even halfway

the production credits arent on wikipedia yet and thats all i care about although the beats have been pretty run of the mill and just a bland, boring backdrop. fountains seems to be the exception there though

For sure. Probably some early Aaliyah sample. I have neither time or energy to look it up since this is gonna be a one listen experience for me.

lol if it ends up being from an early aaliyah sample thats gonna add many layers to how fucked up that is

looks like on TSU there is a credit for an "R. Kelly" but it's also important to note that almost everyone in the spotify credits is listed as first initial, last name. So while it totally could be R Kelly, it could also be Ralph Kelly

Yebba somehow has been featured on SO many albums the last few years and I just don't like her, doesn't bring anything to this either
