“Summer Games” and “Nice For What” were definitely highlights and that song that sampled Michael Jackson just for the shock factor of shading The Weeknd.

Those first 5 are definitely the only vital ones, and honestly I only really care for about half of IYRTITL, but I do think that Views, More Life and Scorpion have solid 10-song albums in there if he would have any sort of restraint

i only skip the stretch of preach, wed. night interlude, and used to on IYRT. other than that i can let it ride.

“Girls Wants Girls” is about as sensible and respectful of an ode to same sex relationships as you would expect from Drake.

At the very least, this is obviously way better than Donda. But that's such an incredibly low bar it doesn't really need to be mentioned

drake on "girls want girls" is andrew cuomo saying "i am gay"

Kinda funny that Jay-z gave Drake a verse that is WAY better than his embarrassing Donda verse

the few high points of donda completely eclipse anything ive heard on this record so far, but the rest of that record is a complete mess and totally incoherent. this at least is like, put together even though its put together in a very mundane, predictable way that sounds completely uninspired.

I regrettably listened to Donda twice and can't think of any "high points" other than maybe a guest verse or two.

    21 5's is better than 27 2's with moments of 7 or 8

  13. Yeah, pretty much agree with Jake. This feels more even I guess and I'm only a quarter of the way in but this sucks so far lol. Very mids. Donda at least has "Hurricane," "Jesus Lord," and "Off the Grid"

I guess we'll see if anything changes in the next *checks watch* hour

my girlfriend is really into donda so ive heard it a bit. i like off the grid a lot. jesus lord is some good shit. junya is great. i also like hurricane. other than that not much else is worth noting. i also think there are brief moments of clarity on kanye's part regarding mental illness and substance abuse/alcoholism, but its obviously muddled underneath a whole bunch of other stuff and obviously the surrounding context of the album's rollout and his actions in that regard. so far drake's deepest emotional resonance comes in declaring himself a lesbian.

Yeah I guess I just don't hear it this time around, not even the tracks you are mentioning. I definitely understand that there are moments where the lyrical content might sneak through but it's far too clouded.

haha ok this track is kinda fun, but also really dumb at the same time. You're right though, first thing that sticks out after the last few tracks before it

This is his worst album probably. There hasn’t been much of a stand out song besides Fair Trade.

He’s made these songs hundreds of times already.
