Makonnen is amazing. Dude is one of my faves out of this whole recent wave of hip hop. It sucks what happened to him, but he's still consistently putting out great stuff.

 

I've only listened to Fake Love and the 21 Savage track but I actually like them both quite a bit. Better than a good chunk of Views.

 

I'd just like to say it's weird to me how serious Drake always is about his birthday.

 

Remember when take care was supposed to come out on his bday but got pushed back due to sample clearance (I think Kanye had something to do with it?$

i dont remember anything bout kanye but i do remember posting a fb status the night it leaked about "yes drake leaked...but so did childish gambino - camp!!!"

 

I heard a rumor something had to get taken off the album because ye wouldn't let something he worked on get cleared? Something like that

 

Fake Love almost sounds like a Ryan Hemsworth beat.

 

I wish this album was really billed as "Drake and his pals".

 

Drakes second verse on Sneakin is fuego

 

Also Fake Love is gonna be a hit

 

You can tell drakes been rippin off future on them hooks.

 

Man I fuck with these two songs so hard. Did not expect this after only really like a third or so of Views.

 

"And she textin Purple Hearts cuz she know that we at war" feels too corny even by Drake standards. But yeah I like both songs a good amount

 

honestly whats a little weirder to me about the cudi lines is that he drops those bars about xans and percs while being besties with future. like, what?

 

I've heard future doesn't actually do those drugs and it's for the music

 

Kanye has a writing credit on Two Birds, One Stone.
