Ok I'm probably more into modern Drake than a fair amount of this thread, but I did not understand at all how God's Plan is such a mega-hit. I have never heard it in real life anywhere and it doesn't seem nearly as distinct as his recent popular singles. What am I missing?
I find the numbers it's doing incredible given it was an unfinished track that he went back to. Imagine how many more of those Drake has lying around his hard drives... Personally I am much more into Drake when he's rapping (Tuscan Leather, 30 for 30, 6pm in NY etc...) but I still enjoy the other stuff he puts out. Diplomatic Immunity is my favourite of the two new tracks but I'm not surprised God's Plan took off.. especially with the bed and mama line like tdlyon said!

Everyone in the world would probably be as annoying as Drake if they could release “God’s Plan” and have it be ridiculously big
lmao I was going to say the same thing. When Taco dropped it at the Tyler tour in Toronto the crowd went insane.
