It’s a ridiculously long game. I’m still playing it. I just got back to Octagona to re find Jade

I know... I really need to. I feel oddly emotional about it for some reason haha

Did you finish the post game?

I finally finished the game. 115 hours.

The true final boss was really tough. Even after the trick with the super sword of light. Took me 4 attempts to finally win. Erik was the key with his divide and critical claim ability. Beautiful ending. The game is another classic and easily makes it's way on to my top 20 maybe even top 15 RPGs list. I did not realize that you could marry Gemma. It was interesting to see a video of her in your house at the end instead of your Mom haha.
Glad to hear that DQ12 is already in development. I feel like I did most of the things I wanted to do in this game. There were a few that I thought I would get to and ended up completing which was nice.

Moving on to Outer Worlds now...

That's crazy. I think I was only at 65% and I feel like I did so much... Do you have to fight every monster to get that?

I got up to 54% of trophies and gave up lol

  9. The toughest part is grinding out items from monsters that have around a 3% chance of dropping them. I don't recall if you had to fight everything, but I'm sure I did.

I also only have 5 platinums and they're all easy ones

Is that to collect one of each item? Or just specific ones for quests?

I wanted to get the Sword of Judgement. I finally had to resort to using the pepped up ability where you get the item.

Not sure if that works every time... But it worked.

  13. I think so. I needed to keep going back to the same monster for crafting materials.

  14. Spoiler for the final final boss:

you can make the fight WAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY easier by using the sword in combat rather than taking him head on. I didn't know this and grinded him down until he destroyed me.

I knew something wasn't right when I first took him on, so I looked it up and found the trick.

I didn't do the Wheel of Harma trial... May come back to that at some point. Also couldn't get the last boss of the other trials defeated in under the turn limit. Tried a few times and was always 2 or 3 turns over. Wonder if I could do it now.

You should finish it for sure. The real boss/ending is worth it.

  19. Chapter 8 of 12. Honestly, based on whats left, closer to half way done.

I think if I remember correctly, maybe 40-50% through.

Jesus really? I thought for sure I was reaching the end...

  22. You are reaching AN END. Probably about the point Dan gave up. There are honestly three points where I thought the game was over. Another series would have made the other content DLC.

  23. The original Ni no Kuni did the same thing. I fucking love fake out endings in RPG's. Feels good, man.
