Vegeta deserves better. I’m one of those fans who firmly believed it would have been a better story choice to have Goku take the backseat after Cell Saga.
Vegeta has always been my favorite. When he first arrives during the android saga, I marked out hard. Such a bad ass entrance.
I wanted to go to that so bad. Only a two hour drive for me, but I had other stuff going on this weekend. That's amazing though!
Vegeta’s character development through Z/Super has been nothing short of astounding honestly, probably the only character across the series that has been written true to his growth and that’s impressive given the 3-400 episodes there have been. This was the first time I’ve seem him accept that it’s more important that the fight is won than it is that he’s the one winning the fight.
I'm thinking Roshi would be fun. Other than that, give me some more Super characters like Kefla, Jiren, and Toppo (with assists from the other troopers a la Ginyu). Movie characters are a little tricky because a lot of them are too close to existing characters or they're physically too big for this game.
Ultra Instinct is definitely one of my favorite transformations. The aura and hair are better than any previous form.
This week is the end of the Goku vs Jiren fight I think Really stoked but I'm going to be bummed when I don't have this show to watch every weekend. This is the first time that I (and a million others) have gotten to experience a Dragon Ball series live. But oh well, I guess we have the movie and most likely more anime at some point in the future.
That's my hope, too. General consensus seems to be that they need to allocate some resources to the movie so they will give the anime a break instead of completely cancelling it. Hopefully they'll have a new series afterwards which will catch up to the manga and use it as source material (since it is continuing beyond Super). We can only hope.
Yep I agree. Plus the manga is very far behind the anime right now. The anime break allows some time for it to catch up.
Not gonna lie, I might be more excited for tonight's episode than I am to go out for St. Patrick's day later.
man, the Fuji TV previews are always such wonderful troll-jobs; i audibly said “WHAT” when No. 17 appeared and i think they handled Mastered UI perfectly. but seriously, fuck Jiren. so boring. plus the fact that Belmod had to be like “hey you should probably try to eliminate Goku you fuck” sums up my entire issue with the Goku/Jiren stuff. it’s possible to choreograph a good fight where the guys are trying to one up each other but also, you know, TRYING TO WIN.
I've been trying to ignore stuff like that from the beginning, honestly. I mean, every universe went into the tournament despising Goku for dooming them, but then they all found out they were doomed anyway and Goku actually gave them a chance for survival. Yet, for some convenient reason, every person targeted Goku. One by one. The stats show how absurdly written the tournament has been lol pretty sure Goku and Vegeta have 90% of the eliminations themselves. Meanwhile, Jiren essentially meditated through the whole thing. Come on!
As we approach this final episode, I can't help but to think about how rumors have surfaced every six months or so about a new Dragon Ball series....for probably the last 10-15 years. The fact that it finally happened and is already over is surreal.
