Dragon Ball Super is confirmed to reach the end of Z and most likely even further. Dragon Ball Super-the future of the series in a new interview
So many blatant homages with the Kale/Broly stuff. Loved it. Frieza being confirmed is nuts, I was a little annoyed that he didn't get all fired up when he saw Goku. Was just all "oh 'sup". Goku saying "it will take a while" to gather the Dragon Balls is pretty telling. Could very easily just not follow through. Fans are saying it would turn them against Goku and it's like... come on. The character you always complain about being dumb outsmarts someone for once, someone who has tried to murder him and everyone he loves a billion times, and that makes him a bad dude?
I was hoping for Frieza to lose his mind, too, but then it made sense that he was more suspicious than anything. Like, "You're obviously scheming something if you're coming down here to see me..." I would be much more opposed to Goku keeping his promise and reviving him rather than lying to Frieza. The guy has killed his friends - some of them multiple times. Not to mention his dad, his whole race, and his home planet. If Goku let Frieza live JUST because he wanted a challenge...he's gone completely off the deep end.
I doubt Toriyama will just have Goku say, "Thanks for helping us win the tournament" and leave Frieza in Hell. Something out of left field is probably going to happen.
Speculation (spoilers even?) says he's going to plot something with Frost. This makes me believe he's going to get himself erased and it's not going to matter anyways.
So it looks like those spoilers are fake... Kind of a bummer because I thought those spoilers were better than the direction they were actually going. haha.
I'm starting to get on board with this whole Frieza thing. He's so interesting since you know he's not going to come around to being a good guy like everyone else on the team has.
Wow I never really thought about that but yeah a lot of our main characters all used to be "bad guys" at some point in the series. Hey who knows. Maybe in 10 years Frieza will be on team Z.
I'm down for whatever. Give me Super Saiyan 5 Super Saiyan God SS Brolyriezacell at this point. Dragon Ball already was plothole city, and now theyve introduced 11 more Universes, all sorts of new gods, multiple timelines. I've loved all of it. Maybe I'm a low brow heathen. So be it. DRAGON BALL FOREVER AND FOREVER A HUNDRED YEARS DRAGON BALL
This was one of my favorite episodes yet. There was some great comedy between Vegeta having to defend Frieza to Trunks, and Roshi forgetting he can't fly after his heartfelt speech lol. Frieza's reintroduction was perfect. The fact that the first thing he did was punch Goku in the gut and talk some shit... loved it. Goku's response as well. I love that they hate each other so much but neither can deny that they fucking live to fight each other. I was so bummed that we have to wait a week to see him murder all those jobbers. Animation was superb as well, this is the most cinematic the series has looked imo.
I was apprehensive about watching subtitled too but I have yet to look back. I've grown to love the japanese voices to an extent, particularly Beerus and Frieza. I can't wait for the dub but I even more can't wait for the next sub ep lol. If you want one of my Crunchyroll guest passes lmk. Idk how they work but I think it lets you try it out for a day or two.
Same here. I haven't even watched the English dub lol I also suggest Crunchyroll since that's what makes the show money but there's always animetv.to for streaming. They are almost as quick as Crunchyroll for getting the subs uploaded.
Yeah Crunchyroll is just so easy, full HD and I've yet to have it so much as buffer. I keep telling myself I'll use it to branch out to other anime, but I've only watched Dragon Ball and Digimon Tri lol. Still worth it.
Kinda getting the urge to watch Super after getting hyped for Dragonball again with the ASW fighter news.
