Digging that song. Not too different from the rest of their work, but I don't have a problem with that.
Oh whoops, you're right. Mis-read the fine print on stereogum, it is in fact untitled but sometimes called Okay (for whatever reason)
I don't like this as much as I wished I did (as much as I liked IDECA). But the opener and closer are both great for sre
They're both on the lower half of the album IMO. I think the second half is much better than the first and it's on the whole better than my post made it sound like, haha
Yeah I'm almost done with my first listen, not as good as the last but I love that one Didn't leak by the way, don't ask, haha
Erik's voice has gotten a lot gruffer on this one. I like the first two tracks but it was great to hear the boppier side of them again on Kept Me Around.
I recently realized how much I like I Don't Even Care Anymore. Stuck with me a ton. This is still solid but think I'll likely love that one the most forever
Yup. That album is amazing to me. Probably top 10, maybe 5, from the scene. Can't even begin to explain what songs like Get Weird and Meant To Shred mean to me. I think the only thing they've done better than that album is World's Finest Chocolate.
Hyped for this but also a bit apprehensive now as people have said there's a bit of a change in their sound...
Well that's not so bad, then. The songs released so far have a bit of a Piebald/early-Hot Rod Circuit vibe, so hopefully they're representative of the rest of the album.
