Uneasy Hearts Weigh The Most I am a million fucking bucks I am a thousand fucking fucks Your bitch is dead. she was hit by a truck What the fuck! I rest my case.
Alex English - Uneasy Hearts is such a weird song cause it's unlike any other song in the band's discography. It's a slow rock ballad, and somehow it kind of works. The Kurt era of the band is the only era where DGD is a "real" band that focuses on songwriting and lyricism, as opposed to weirdness & genre bending. Which isn't to say it isn't weird, that breakdown is wild. But it's a song that only could have been done by this bamd at this point in time. I really wanted to give it to Uneasy Hearts. But then whenever I heard Alex English it just became the only choice. Those riffs are perfect, the falsetto backing vocals make me melt, the fast drums hit. And then Kurt yelling "Until you can sleep sound" was what made it clear to me this was the only song that could win this round.
