think the best song on here is circulation. the promo stuff is all comparing this to goodness, and while i dont really hear it, i do feel like the jump in style and vibe is comparable. that one probably demonstrates it best i think

 

Stoked to see them back with a new album, I listened to the last one a lot

 

I haven't heard the album yet but I have also had trouble hearing goodness in the singles. maybe something like two deliverances. anyway all the songs are amazing

 

way before i heard it i got told something like 'theyre on some manorch shit' and maybe that colors my perspective but i think this is generally much more in line with that sort of dark alt rock than like goodness. especially on the new one and the opener

actually, i heard gordon mention microwave in an interview, and i think stovall is a pretty good riyl for this

 

Personally, I think that scatterplot and about leaving are two of the best songs on the album. I also love how the opener and the closer are so sonically different from each other and I think that's going to really make people stop, think and go "oh this...this is GOOD."

I think PROOF's one of those albums that's worth listening to from start to finish because of the style/vibe jumps. It's something a little different than what I've listened to this year so far and because of that I really dig it.

 

Yeah, I like how the opener and closer are both like opposite poles of the sounds on here and they’re both totally different from anything else they’ve ever done. They do cover a lot of ground on here

good record. circulation stuck out to me on first listen, amazing track. closer is also sweet. was a little caught off guard by bury, gonna need to listen to that again

 

Whoa first song is crazy cool, big MWY Untitled vibes? Just me?

Vocals give me big Warm Thoughts (Touche Amore drummer's solo stuff) vibes.

Geez this is suuuuper good, front to back. Eyesight and Circulation are among my immediate favorites but this feels like one of those records where it’ll change every listen
