I feel like maybe they would both benefit from some time off. I know they usually save it for the end of the year, but it feels like Wiger has a lot on his plate with whatever his writing gig is and two different podcasts that have two episodes come out a week. Other pods like We Hate Movies take breaks. Doughboys should too!
Yeah, I know they joke a lot about the fanbase and there's always going to be some weirdos out there, but I can't imagine most of the audience wouldn't stick around if they needed to take some much-needed time off.
I've long thought that they could even significantly change the format and most of the audience would stick around just for Nick and Mitch. At least I would.
I honestly zone out of the food reviews a lot lately. I mostly come for the Doughboys crew and their guests goofing around
They should do more vegetable themed months or have the main topic just be a snack or wack. I feel like recording 4 podcasts a week was almost a full time job considering how much prep is needed for each (going to a restaurant, watching anime, keeping current on new video games, etc).
