I didn't realize the ice cream place by my moms was a handels, I had been having a weird craving for a banana split so my girlfriend and I split one and both agreed it was pretty standard. Did not like it just had cut up bananas in it instead of a proper split

 

Had a extra thick Banana Cream Pie milkshake from Handel's on Saturday and it was so good.

 

I’m interested in trying it but it’s 30 minutes from me.

 

It's about that far for me. I'm gonna go but keep putting it off.

 

There's an Andy's Custard like 1/4 mile from my door. They always have a super long line but I've had it twice and was severely unimpressed.

 

Huh, I had assumed Handel's was a west coast thing so I didn't bother looking for one until now. Apparently there's one about 30 minutes from me

 

I did! It was really good! I split a 4 scoop of graham central station, s’mores, frosted animal cookies, and caramel delight. Almost went back for more afterwards but we stopped ourselves. Super good and surprisingly really cheap! 5 forks.

The 4 scoop sampler isn't very big. I had one myself for my birthday and wanted more. I think the scoops are a little smaller than their regular scoops.

There's a local place near me that does a similar thing with their homemade hard-serve - you get a flight of four half-scoops for $6. It's a great value considering the price of like, Blizzards or whatever, and you get to try several flavors.

 

Mitch saying the Brundlefly would take the shotgun from its head and move it to Nick's had me cracking up, and then they brought Nancy Regan back into it and I really lost it lol. The bit about her blowing Big Bird is was so fucking funny
