Hollywood Handbook is still the best podcast ever made

 

Actionboyz is, and I started listening to then because of how much Wiger talked it up

 

This is the best podcast

 

I'd vote for YKS.

 

I do love YKS because it goes so quick since everything is broken up into sections. Obvs, Doughboys still rides high.

 

Doughboys is my favorite and the one I’ve heard every episode of. I’ve listened to never not funny the most besides doughboys but all the other podcasts come and go for me. There are podcast I listened to for 5+ years that I haven’t listened to in years. Guys is currently my second favorite and has been going strong for 2+ years. I loved TFO for a while but they got lazy and I haven’t listened in a long time. HH can be great but when it’s bad it’s really bad. Actionboyz is one I always wanted to get into because of Gabrus but I don’t totally love the other 2 hosts.

 

I'm a sicko. I've listened to every episode including bonuses of Doughboys, YKS, Blocked Party and Guys.

Friday: Used to be With Gourley and Rust, but they stopped covering horror a couple of seasons ago and I don't really have interest in the espionage movies they're tackling.

Lately, I've been running through the old Hollywood Handbook episodes. Sometimes I'll just throw on one of the Parcast shows about conspiracy theories or unsolved mysteries, or just listen to some old-ass Coast to Coast broadcasts depending on the vibe.

I like Blank Check in doses or when the boys are on, but I don't love Griffin or David enough to listen regularly.

 

I got into blank check last year when my company got hacked and I couldn’t work for a few months. I don’t listen to every episode and Griffin can be a lot at times but it’s a good pod.

 

The Amy Heckerling series currently on Blank Check has been a lot of fun.

 

I only keep up with HH now, have been doing most doughboys but I’m usually late.

I don’t miss the Patreon episodes, but I do wish Mitch would go on the Flagrant Ones.

 

The episode of the flagrant ones where they call Mitch and then he doesn’t hang up cause he wants to see if they talk shit on him was so good. That was like 6 years ago though.

 

I fell off podcasts super hard during covid and am slowly scraping my way back with HH and Doughboys and Revolutions. But the habits are sadly mostly gone so its kinda by chance what I listen to when

 

Mitch on flagrant ones would be fun, as long as they avoid the subject of basketball entirely

 

hm now that it’s confirmed Mitch reads the board and didn’t take me up on this post, seems like Spoonman isn’t so confident in Regina after all

 

TFO was great but they got so lazy that I had to unsub

 

Flagrant Ones had such an incredible start and then after like half a year I wasn’t nearly as into it. Nowadays I’m on Guys (and the bonus shows), YKS, Doughboys, and the Zach Lowe Show. Fell off HH and CBB but they’ll always have a special place in my heart.

 

ABZ is good because it's just the same three hosts (except when Stanger almost died), so there's not the inconsistencies that come with have a dud of a guest.

Doughboys is close, but you can definitely tell if the boys are not as familiar/comfortable with a guest. Still enjoyable.

 

Doughboys, never not funny, actionboyz, sloppy boys, and entry level are my go to current podcasts. I listen to Advice Fight (formally Grawlix Saves The World) when I’m camping

 

I like the football podcast on the Hollywood handbook and friends patreon so I haven’t cancelled yet. TFO was going downhill for a while but once Kelsey left it really took a nosedive.

 

I loved entry level for like a year and then fell off of that.
