Probably, there was a lot of subway discussion for that episode. I’ve always been #spoonnation but Wigers over the top disdain for Subway lately while gleefully eating borderline dogfood (albeit tasty dogfood) from other fast food places has made me anti burger brigade.
My man up in arms defending subway’s domestic paper bag policy and swears Mitch thinks “we’re” alright
for as much as he posts about Subway, I do have to admit that it's kind of strange I've never seen Mick denounce Jared. Disappointing, frankly
I think Mitch probably resonated with the post where Mick compared his expertise on Subway to that of a professional piss drinker.
Jared sucks. I always hated him, even before it was known he was a pedophile. He also has nothing to do with the quality of Subways food. He’s a non factor, not worth mentioning.
I think judging food based on the character of people associated with the corporation is in bad faith and in that case everything sucks
I agree. You shouldn't have to explain away a pedophile just so you can enjoy yoga mat bread and chicken that is 50% not chicken
I’m getting two footlongs after work, jam packed with fresh veggies, chicken that might have some additional soy protein and freshly baked bread with no yoga mat chemical that every other fast chain also used. It’s gona be beautiful
The only fast food sandwich chain (not including burgers as sandwiches) I'd even consider is Jersey Mike's. I have no reason to ever get Subway, both because of how bad it is and because local options are better. The most I've gotten Subway was in college, and we treated it like we were getting health food.
I guess if I wanted bell peppers, cucumbers, mushrooms and sprouts or whatever on my sandwich, Subway would make sense but I just want what is basically Mike's Way (LTO, O&V) so then it comes down to comparing the meat and bread and Subway ranks dead last in those departments imo.
Jersey Mikes is good but it’s way more expensive, they have less veggies and they skimp on them. Especially the hot subs from there are anemic. I get lettuce, spinach, olives, onions, jalapeños, green peppers. I shake some of it out so I can scoop it up with tortilla chips. It’s so good
I like Jimmy John's more than most people, but mostly because they slop it up with mayonnaise. Ike's is decent but the menu is so hard to navigate and everything kinda tastes the same.
Love Mitch keeping this place a secret from Wiger. As someone who also refuses to explain it to people I know in real life, he just like me from fr fr
