The way they talk about subway is so fucking unfair, as if every other shitty fast food place they eat at isn’t of garbage quality factory farmed meat. also US Subways have paper bags that fit two footlongs, dunno why that’s worth mentioning.
a three-hour episode that starts with a bunch of Randy Newman and Christopher Cross talk feels like it was made specifically in a lab for me
DNA Tests Find Subway Chicken Only 50 Percent Meat, Canadian News Program Reports This is fucking crazy, had no idea about this until Wiger mentioned it
Subway is fun and tastes good. Y'all are free to not like Subway, I don't care, but this weird bashing of it while liking just as shitty, if not shittier, fast food is strange. I eat Subway 5 times a week and there's only been like two times that I thought it wasn't hitting while almost half the time i go to Taco Bell/Wendys it's mid to bad. As for the soy thing, it's a flawed analysis and also i don't care. I eat soy protein anyway
Speaking as a former sandwich artist - It's fine. It's better that exists and offers people a healthier alternative, especially as McDonald's and Wendy's have gotten rid of most of their healthier options. And as a Midwesterner, the Doughboys constant talking shit on Taco John's is off base. They went to a terrible location that I believe is now closed. They have some bad takes. In the words of Wiger memorializing Harris Wittels - What are ya gonna do?
His first Hollywood Handbook ep is my favorite they've ever done, I think all of his appearances are great though. He's really underrated.
Thank you. I served about a year in the salt mines. opening tuna cans, putting them in large bowls and emptying giant bags of mayo on them. Same thing with the seafood. Do not recommend either. The rest is fine, though. Or at least it was 20 years ago.
I worked at Quiznos the summer before college. It was a mess, they were always out of stuff and the one guy would work in flip flops and a tank top.
