Kowalik is hilarious. The Noid singing the national anthem and his bit in this episode are some of the hardest laughs I've gotten from the pod.

 

Have not caught up on the thread since the last Double because I'm only halfway through the finale but the sheer amount of chaos halfway in has made this entire disastrous tournament worth it. I just laughed out loud at Susser telling Kowalick "That's right, the ultimate Chekov's gun is about to blow your fucking brains out"

Amazing finale, perfect guests (although I do wish we would have gotten a DSOWD episode during the tournament), so glad Nick did "Viva Arrakis" because I've literally been thinking about it since they started doing the bit and it was driving me nuts lmao

 

Also laughed really hard when Cillian brought up Ad Chad being a paid gig and was abruptly cut off by music lmao

CGC should have won but it was worth it losing to see Mitch genuinely mad about this stupid tournament. So dumb and so fun.

 

Is Mitch still in the thread? They should take his declaration of the CGC being the best item in fast food and use it as the basis of the next tournament.

Taking the best single item from each of the most popular chains in America into one bracket would be really fun.

McDonald’s fries vs Arby’s curly fries, Popeyes chicken sandwich vs chik fil a chicken sandwich, Subway cookie vs Wendy frosty, and the CGC with a chance for redemption against like Jack in the box tacos in the first round.
