accidentally clicked on the thread title and it took me to the first page of the thread so I started reading through some of the first posts.

decided to pick on Mick, but here we are 8 years later with nearly 500 pages in the thread

For what it's worth the comedy thread was the place to talk about podcasts, and now it's bumped like twice a week. Is it better this way? Who knows. Maybe COVID wouldn't have happened if we kept it in the comedy thread

 

I was going to post earlier that I love that this thread is still going strong and that there are only a handful of threads in Entertainment that have more posts.

 

you're right that the comedy thread is a lot quieter now, but I'm just kinda pointing out the same thing as Daniel

The comedy thread has a similar number of posts to this one in the same amount of time, so it's just interesting/cool that the pod is still going and we're all still ostensibly enjoying it enough to post it about it so much

 

and even a host of the podcast admits this is the best Doughboys community on the internet.

 

I'm sure he says that everywhere that isn't reddit

 

Do any others even exist?

 

I know there's a facebook page that I found truly insufferable. There's probably other sites like chorus that nobody has ever heard of also populated by weirdos

 

All I know is that you couldn't pay me to learn what the Doughscord is, those people seem like true dorks.

 

I'm reading through these early pages and I'm shocked it took us 20 pages before the first real food argument, over ice cream flavors (vanilla is the best flavor)

 

I had to remove myself from that Facebook page. It was the worst.

A terrible place to be. The true psychos are in the ABZ discord. Doughscord is annoying sometimes but not terrible. Too fast for me to ever participate

 

This thread is enough for me.

The ending of this episode had me crying. Please watch the last 5 minutes on video. It’s so worth it.

 

I'm officially over The Drop bit. They're almost all the same contrived jokes at this point and it seems more phoned in than ever. Just get rid of it. Its a waste of time that leads to even more time being wasted with Mitch explaining the joke to the guest, apologizing for how embarrassed they are, etc.

Today's was so annoying and the Phish one recently was just so bad...
