While I agree wholeheartedly with the critiques of generative learning/AI machines, they aren’t going away and I’ve seen a handful of artists and performers use it in ways that are interesting, like Chris St. James on NEAS. I don’t think they did anything wrong. It’s going to take performers and audiences awhile to find a comfort zone with all this, and the Doughboys are low on the list of my concerns about art and AI.

 

Let's just agree to very much disagree on this because it's distracting from maybe the best episode of the year.
