They’re releasing the live Chicago episode tomorrow. I was in attendance and they spent a quarter of the show taking about their Taco John’s experience in Minnesota the daybefore so I fear a lot of the jokes will not land without having heard their proper TJ review.
Wow. I literally just realized they say Sombrero and not Sbarro in that song. I can't believe this is occurring to me now considering a) Sbarro doesn't have Mexican food and b) that's not how you pronounce Sbarro, but sometimes a long time ago I must have thought that was the lyrics and just never thought about it. You learn something every day.
A walking taco is tortilla chips with taco meat/toppings in the bag. Tostilocos and Dorilocos are Tostitos/Doritos in the bag with chamoy, hot sauce, cucumbers, japonés peanuts, and whatever else you want Frito pie is exclusively Fritos with chili and cheese. I can only trust Wikipedia on pepper bellies being what Californians call Frito pies for some reason
The double made me so nostalgic for my schools lunch. I legitimately miss that food. And the value was insane
Can't believe they didn't add chicken sandwiches or taco snacks to the menu, those were the best. I didn't eat cafeteria food from middle school through high school. Both had a snack line / window where you could get better stuff like Domino's personal pizza, hot pockets, pizza sticks, taco snack, or those shaker salads. It's insane that Mitch's school had a guy that would make made to order subs. What kind of life?
