I'm listening to Fishy Flip now and Mike sounds totally different. It's really throwing me off.

 

I think they joked about this on an ep recently? Or maybe Go Off Kings? There’s a joke conspiracy that Jesse replaced DB a few years ago.

 

I could buy into this theory lol. His voice is like a full octave lower now. And he's kind of quieter and more docile (maybe just more stoned) now too

They’re great! The ketchup ones are nasty though

 

Tried the Ultimate Cheddar Doritos and they were very much somewhere between mild snack and mild wack

It was very weird, apparently Jeff didn’t really talk to them about it before posting online that he quit and then he was kind of just like, oh yeah felt like it was time to move on and open stuff up for the future and Tim and Mike were like …ok. Anyway, he’ll still be on the pod but definitely felt like the vibes were strange in the first five minutes. After that they went on one of their best runs in a while doing a long riff on their nasty boy/nasty man bit. Funny dudes and glad Jeff is still on/they’re still doing the pod. As a slop head patron I like having those three doofuses to listen to a couple times a week.
