We have different definitions of feel good.

 

Two long time friends and business partners having an open, honest and vulnerable conversation instead of quietly letting resentment build until they break up and never speak again is awesome. And hell, they got to knock an episode out while doing it.

(I ran out of time and still have like 30 minutes left so maybe it takes a turn and I look like a fool).

 

That’s entirely fair. I was hurting for Mitch because he seemed to want something that Wiger was or is not willing to give and Sus would not stop interrupting. In the end, they sound good and it’s great they’ll be back in the studio for 2023.

 

I just hope they really do get along and this podcast doesn’t truly strain their friendship.

It was a good ep, I like when they get sincere and it was still funny.

 

honestly didn't really feel like it was that different from a semi-normal episode. with the exception of the one part where mitch said he was getting emotional, everyone in here kept harping about the "i guess it's me" line, which pretty clearly seemed delivered for a laugh? y'all are doing too much lol

i hope the pod continues. by all accounts on the episode, there seems to be no reason to doubt it doing so.

 

seemed quasi-normal to me too, except that it dragged out a little long

 

Who is the show runner they are talking about? Or was it an episode that fell through

definitely phil lol. had no idea they had a bad experience with him. i know he was ribbing wiger for not traveling but I just assumed it was a bit

 

Wiger called him out twice this past month haha. I don’t think he genuinely dislikes him, just his opinions on travel are a bit tone deaf and he was obviously not prepared for what the show is

 

I don't know, Wiger's been going in lol I think there's something genuine there. It's pretty funny.

 

Yeah he seems to have really hated that record, I barely remember the episode but didn’t think it was that bad.

 

I remember phil giving him shit for never traveling oversees like sorry bud we don’t all have Everyone Loves Raymond money

2 and a half hours is a lot, I get Wiger’s anger. These should probably be closer to 45 minutes.

I stayed up all night making cuts to get it close to 1:45. But wiges emailed that we might as well keep it long. So we did. Last one. Hope you enjoy!

 

I haven’t listened yet but the past two Christmas specials are amazing so I’m pumped on the length. Might stretch it over two nights though

 

I'm sitting the whole family down on Christmas morning and the kids can't open any presents until we've listened to the entire thing.
