I’d love it if they pivoted to just not reviewing restaurants anymore and just had a much more broad chat style approach to it. No one who listens or is drawn to the show at this point actually cares about the food stuff.

 

Well that's just not true.

 

I care about the food stuff, I think it's a great format to spark those kinds of conversations. Food is universal and something most people have strong connections to and opinions on and I don't think you'd get a lot of those conversations and anecdotes without a decent concept for the show. They can easily tweak it to not be so detrimental to their health, but the Doubles give you the best of both worlds anyway.

Like 90% of the conversations in this thread are about food. We definitely care about the food stuff

that said i would listen to these fools talk about nearly anything. (No more Star Wars please)

 

fair enough, the middle portion of the show is when I always tune out and let it become background noise

edit: not always tune out but I listen to podcasts at work so when it’s actual food chat I don’t pay as close attention
