The best ice cream, outside of custard, is from the local dairy queen knock off by you. A soft serve cone or a blizzard with a funny name can't be beat.
Try it out sometime. Braum's is great all around, but the soft serve is some of the best I've had anywhere. Really smooth and creamy and you can get a giant waffle cone for like $2
In MD we have an ice cream passport where you go to all the creamery's in the state and get stamped. Aside from the one 4 hours away, I did them all. I'm a bit of a creamsman as well. That said, almost all of them have been regular ice cream and not soft serve.
Bubblegum dipping dots 100% give the idea of what Mitch was trying to convey. Not my thing but the idea of a less sweet ice cream like that, I totally understand
Anyone try these yet? I used to be ride or die for Del Taco, but they have definitely gone downhill recently, I'm kind of scared. That Chicken Soft Taco flavored one is calling my name though.
