I was high last night watching Food Network and started thinking about how there are all these ingredients on Earth and we can just use to them create these elaborate, delicious meals somehow, and what purpose it all serves. Like, is the creation of "bread" something that was always supposed to happen, is it part of the universe's grand design? Anyways, putting peanuts in Coca-Cola kinda throws all that out the window.
I'm from Ohio and grew up saying "pop". Moving to Chicago 14 years ago is what swayed me to start saying "soda".
When I interview people I ask if they say soda or pop, if they say soda I know they aren’t hard workers and think they’re better than everyone. If they say pop they are of the people and will be the best worker I have.
Back in the day, I went on Christian teen work camp retreat in West Virginia, they had kids from all over show up for free teen labor for Jesus. There was sign in what was acting as our sleeping quarters (aka a middle school) pointing to where the soda was. I crossed it out and put “Pop.” That sign was a goner by the next day with the amount of times someone crossed it out and switched it to Soda or Pop.
I just had shake shack for the first time. Sweet Jesus it was amazing. I think better than 5 guys which is my favorite fast food burger.
