Damn, short episode this week, less than an hour.

 

Hope that's not because of the bonus episodes cause I'd rather have one regular sized episode than two half episodes

 

Yeah I'm hoping this isn't the sign of things to come :( just for the tournament

 

Welp 15 minutes in Mitch says Wiger wanted 2 short episodes a week. So we aren't really getting more content just 2 shorter episodes.

 

Man if that's the case it's kinda shitty. Basically splitting up the normal free content between a paywall. I was going to pay either way but cmon guys

Didn't they specifically say last week that we'd be getting normal ~1.5h episodes and just the bonus ones would be shorter? It'll be pretty disappointing if we just end up getting the same amount of content a week but spread out over 2 episodes.

 

They did say last week, not to worry, the regular episodes would still be 90 (or so) minutes and then they'd do a slightly shorter (maybe 45-60min) bonus episode each week for the Patreon.

Then they put out a 55min episode?!?!

 

I think the idea is that the Tournament would be two shorter episodes, and then they'd switch to that model. I hope that's the case at least

 

I'm sure they'll get pestered enough over the short episode to know it's unacceptable.

Or Wiger will finally snap and it'll be very ugly for all of us

 

This "we hate the show, we don't want to do it anymore" bit (?) that's been going on for months is getting old. The arguments really aren't funny anymore imo

 

It feels like all the podcasts I listen to are losing steam imo

I'm pretty sure they're doing two minisodes a week for the tournament, and then losers bracket for Patreon. So the other episode should come out Friday or Monday? They need two losers for that Paterson episode

 

Hmmm. I hadn't thought about the fact that they need 2 losers for one bonus episode. Maybe you're onto something.

Anyways, if that's the real bracket, there's ten matches not including the loser's bracket, so I imagine we're getting two Chompions episodes every week plus the loser's bracket ep.

 

If that's the case then I'm cool with it, obviously. I assume we'll have to wait until after the Tournament to see if regular episodes are affected

Yep, I should have looked closer at that bracket. On the podcast, they said the bracket was on their Twitter, Facebook, and Feral's website but I can't find it anywhere
