I pay $10/month to support a smaller podcast. Probably will pay the $5 for this but it's adding up

 

It does add up, but I feel like I've gotten so much free content from them for this long that they deserve the money. $60 for an entire year of an extra hour or two of entertainment every week seems nominal.

 

that's basically where I'm at. I was planning to buy a t-shirt the next time they were posted, so I'll just do this instead

 

Yeah, and I also feel better about giving to them because at least I know they are actually getting the money. I'd always rather buy a band's merch from them directly than buy the album from Best Buy and maybe the bands makes a $1

 

Yeah, it does add up but I don't want to miss out on content. Do you just download the patreon app, and download like normal podcasts?

Gotta get rid of that Seeso subscription I used for one month and forgot about and invest in Doughboys.

The Spicket argument was so ridiculous. I thought Wiger was building up to some bit or something, I couldn't understand the outrage

Love the D Boys but this episode should have been like 30 minutes and there was no reason to even talk about In N Out

 

Yeah there's not really much about In N Out that they hadn't already covered. And since there were no guests, there were literally no new perspectives on In N Out to be shared so it just felt a bit pointless.

 

Haven't listened yet, but fuck you guys for complaining that the episode was "too long"

A few episodes ago they said they had a meal together (with Susser, I want to say?) to commiserate over something bad that had happened. I assumed it was the show not happening

The average contribution to the Patreon seems to be around $4.50 which doesn't make sense to me. I guess some people just want to contribute but don't care about bonus episodes?

 

That's always strange to me. If the average was greater than $5, I'd assume some people just wanted to give more, but I can't see why someone would want to contribute but either didn't care about the bonus episodes or could only afford an amount less than $5?!!?
