Patreon subscribers: do Doughboys let you know where they eat on tour or let you vote on their restaurant beforehand? Asking because I wanna be prepared before the Chicago show next year.

 

They have let people vote in the past but not always I don’t think.

 

I don't think they included the audience on the choosing of the restaurants when they came to Texas, although I'm sure people berated them with tweets as soon as the shows were announced, but they for sure said where they were eating well before the show happened.

 

They don’t always let you vote but definitely tell you before the show where they are eating.

 

They usually take suggestions but I don’t ever remember an actual vote.

 

I saw them do a poll for Portland once, but that’s cause the chain they had selected was in the middle of fighting unionization so they scrambled last minute to get it switched.

 

I really hope they don’t do Burgerville this time. PDX sliders and a hundred other great places are sitting right there.

 

Need them to come back through Cleveland and do Melt

 

Would also enjoy a Primanti's ep even if I don't fuck with the sandwiches

 

They could also do eat n park in Pittsburgh.

 

Just had Eat N Park with friends on a whim the other night. Felt great to get a dozen Smiley cookies haha

 

Eat n Park rules. Their Buffalo chicken wrap is one of the best and their ranch is top notch.

They should have done Melt over Swenson’s when they came to Ohio.

 

I say this in the nicest way possible but fuck off!

 

Allow me to be the voice of reason, Eat N Park is good-bad. Perfect cheap diner food for late-night hangouts

I liked Swenson’s when I had it before the show. Never had melt.

 

Eat n Park is fine but super overpriced. I could get better food for the same price pretty much anywhere else. Was definitely a solid hang spot as a teenager though, especially when I smoked and they allowed smoking.

 

I'm totally biased because I worked at Swenson's in college since they only employ twentysomethings so they can treat them like shit. So I think that place really sucks. But Melt is better regardless.
