This has the shot Mitch keeps talking about that he bailed on the first take. Also people constantly giving him shit about the black rifle coffee shirt is stupid. He didn’t pick his fucking wardrobe or else it would have been a doughboys shirt and flannel.

 

He seems so over the moon about this whole experience, it really makes me happy for him. I've been saving the movie for a podcast I'm recording next week, but I really hope this opens up some opportunities for him.

 

i hope his next movie is better and features him in more than 5 minutes of screen time if we are gonna hear about it for two years

 

I went to my parents house today and they had the Tomorrow War paused

Despite his sketch group having their own TV show, working with major directors, tons of high profile comics and actors, and having an extremely successful podcast, it's really cool to see Mitch remain genuine enthusiastic to get this (relatively small) role, albeit in a $200mil movie. I would have been ecstatic just to deliver lunch to The Simpsons staff (which I'm assuming Mitch was too, at the time), but I'm happy to see his increasing successes.

 

More people have seen Mitch in The Tomorrow War in one week than in everything else he’s ever done combined (other than those insurance commercials). I would hope he’s super excited about it
