My mom brought home the chicken teriyaki (I think? some sort of cubed chicken) for me when I was a kid and the movie Toys with Robin Williams was on and the chicken was super fatty and made me sick and I think of it every time I think of Subway or the movie Toys.
Yeah processed chicken trying to be passed off fresh chicken is somehow worse, the texture is just unsettling
Subway is trash but I enjoy it anyway. Jersey Mike's and Potbelly are the clear best sandwich chains.
The only time I had potbellys the bread was hard and messed up my mouth after a couple bites. I've only heard good things about them though so I feel like I need to give it another shot.
The #13 Mike's Way with mayo and cherry pepper relish is the GOAT sub Close second is the #12 Mike's Way with mayo and cherry pepper relish
Jersey Mikes made me feel like I was having an okay hoagie from a corner place in Philly, which is the highest praise I can offer a chain.
Love Jon Daly, love Jersey Mikes...excited that said ordering from jersey mikes is a nightmare if you’re not strictly “mikes way” and the one I go to is borderline a hostile experience club supreme with lettuce, onion, pickles and jalapeños is probably my favorite sub in the world.
#13 mike’s way. Nothin else to it. Pretty close to a perfect sandwich especially when the bread is fresh.
I appreciate Nick taking his time to find a way to dunk on Zach Braff and his shitty Kickstarter movie.
The discussion about the sound at the end of the call killed me. "His last words were 'I'm Joseph, by the way'."
