Not true, there's been tons of females who have been like 'wtf am I doing', (Gillian Jacobs and Claudia O'Doherty come to mind), but she was just rude.
There were absolutely multiple moments of hypocritical self righteousness from Chelsea throughout. 1. Clowning on the guys for the environmental stuff while simultaneously praising her almond products (almonds require more than a gallon of water to produce just one almond). 2. Playfully giving Nick shit about the Covid implications that come with ordering pick up, only to flippantly turn around and have two separate people risk exposure so that she could have her stuff delivered. I haven’t looked at reddit or any other social media discourse, but to act like there are no legitimate criticisms of her appearance would be silly. Having said that, I loved the episode and thought she was great, I thought it was cool she made a point to mention she was still tipping 20% even after the debacle of unpacking her Peet’s order.
I’m joking. The criticism of Chelsea just reminds me of people who say the guest doesn’t get the show every time a woman is on Hollywood Handbook. I think it’s pretty clear she was being mostly facetious, plus nothing she said was really untrue. Podcasting has become pretty hacky in a lot of cases.
Chelsea shits on herself constantly. If you think that was her being hypocritical, that’s plain nonsense.
I wanna blast UV rays into the eyes of anyone that brings up almond milk facts to point out someone’s hypocrisy.
Doughboys has become my new go-to show to run to. Hearing about delicious, horrible foods while running is good motivation.
the biggest gripe with the chelsea episode is she talks about nick’s “generation” and he’s two years younger than chelsea lol
she blew right by it and went onto a serious point about how comedians talk about podcasts. it didn’t seem like a joke
Jack is getting into it with *checks notes* ex-Nazi (?) youtube streamers who are defending Kyle Rittenhouse (?) while grifting twitter libs and other ex-4chan dorks (????) I feel like every week you can just put a bunch of nouns and adjectives into a cup and then spill it out to see who he's fighting with
i agree with his points almost always. the way he goes about it is (again, almost always) in the most insufferable way possible
That's 90% of Twitter though. I'm glad he doesn't give a shit about working in the industry again lol I'd rather have him out here exposing shit than not, even if he's being very Jack about it
