This is wild because Doughboys was like the only show I kept up with religiously, but what are the essential eps from COVID until now? Should I go by guests I know, or are there any sleeper hits/doubles that are worth keeping? I'm behind so much
I only listened to the first hour tonight, but god damn it might be the best episode yet. Non-stop slam dunks
I will say, I feel like since COVID started, Mitch and Nick have seemed a lot friendlier to each other.
I’d also throw in Dennys 3 with Shaun Diston and Wendys with The Sloppy Boys. Lowest points during this were Rob Lowe, Esther Povitsky and Leslie Lee III.
Gonna throw in Chipotle 3 with Alan Aisenberg and Mike Castle and the Trader Joe’s ep with John Hodgman. Those episodes bummed me out
There have been a few less than stellar episodes this year but I guess I like Nick and Mitch enough that I seem to enjoy every episode to some extent. Even when they guest on other podcasts that I'd normally never be interested in, I usually listen.
Zouks during friendly greengrocer mitches grocery month was a highlight for me. Such an honest episode.
yeah this was a weird take what an ep though. anything that breaks nick ("I'm about to drive this bitch up to Salem") breaks me. rust and cassidy are so funny on their own, but they seem to bring the best out of the boys as well
