Those Carmelo Anthony chips are wack as hell. Way too much lime but also way too much jalapeño. But not like in terms of spice level. It’s like a big mouthful of just like raw jalepenos straight from the produce section. Would not recommend.

It’s weird because I agree with Mitch that Habit is about a 3.5-3.75 chain overall, but I disagree with the overall tone of the review. I think Habit is pretty decent. It’s no Shake Shack but their burgers are not bad by any means.

 

I was not expecting K’s Choice or “Crawl” references, but Spoonman is always full of surprises.

People friggin love Habit. It's won so many "Best Burger Chain" polls over the last few years. Not saying it deserves those wins but people are clearly pretty passionate about it for whatever reason.

Personally I'd rather pay a little more and get Shake Shack because it's leagues and leagues better but that's just me.

people tend to forget that they're reviewing one single meal tho. if their meal sucked but most others didnt, theirs still sucked. i know that you already know this so this is more of a general statement but yeah

 

This, I’m one of the people that LOVES The Habit, and during the episode when they said they got one single burger, and then a seasonal chicken sandwich and the tuna sandwich I was thinking “god they fucked up the order”.

But I can’t even imagine thinking “you guys gave MY place a slightly above average review so I’m quitting the show”

 

Yeah no I was just saying that the passion from people, while dumb because the reviews aren’t the point of the podcast, isn’t surprising either just because people seem to really inordinately love this chain for whatever reason.

 

The sides are really good there, as are the shakes. Definitely praiseworthy in those areas.
