Phew yeah okay I thought it was just me at first. The beginning of the show, for whatever reason, almost seemed like Nick and Mitch like scripted their banter. Maybe it was b/c of the crowd? I don't know
I don't know why, but this made ME laugh. I guess picturing the crowd stone-faced while they tell attempt to be funny is a hilarious image.
Yeah it is, he was the guy who yelled out “bottom left”. You could tell that they were bummed by how much heckling was going on, like on their faces. And the energy in this episode is nowhere near as good as the DC shows they released or the NY show I went to.
I was very impressed with the crowd at the Ben's episode in DC. A lot of laughs, you can hear them all, and very few heckles. It was quite nice.
idk if this is a semi-scoop or anything but I emailed the venue the cleveland show was gonna be at to ask about refunds, cus there hadn’t been any sort of official announcement of it even being canceled yet. they’re rescheduling for january!
I assume that they run in completely different circles but I would love to hear julia Smith from delish on the podcast, she has a great energy and seems to have a fair bit in common with doughboys food wise. numerous spills in this one
“Yossarian is a character from a Kurt Vonnegut novel” goddammit Wiger you’re supposed to be the smart one
