I think so. He said that he was supposed to have a day off that day, but instead had to record two podcasts so (I assume) they could get them in before Mitch takes off for boot camp.
Like a said a page or two ago, I'm certain the plan for the 8 east coast dates, and the dates that are now cancelled, was to use some or all of them for when Mitch goes to Quincy for the holidays like he does every year. Now the cancelled dates aren't happening and they're going to have to use some or all of the east coast shows while Mitch is filming the movie plus they have to find time to bank shows for when Mitch goes to Quincy. That's a lot of extra stress put on them.
They should just have Yusong or Emma step in to co-host when Mitch is gone, especially if he starts booking more roles after this. It'd be a nice dynamic shift and they've all proven they have the personality and presence to fill in for him.
I just found out the movie isn't a comedy last night. I assumed with a name like "Ghost Draft", the references to boot camp, and Chris Pratt as the star we were getting some kind of Ghostbusters-plus-Stripes supernatural action-comedy haha
Definitely could be Felix's, I thought the name would ring a bell when I saw it. Looks like they might talk about their trip on the Rock n Brews episode, I'll have to relisten. Also if anyone has any food recs for NO let's hear them.
I can't wait to relisten tomorrow. I missed some of the Q&A due to waitress issues, so it'll be good to get closure there.
I would definitely see Bug in Cleveland as a consolation prize. I laughed out loud when I read the merch page "Save $10 with proof of a cancelled Doughboys ticket!"
if they are accepting snacks at the live shows then i want to bring some classic new england cider donuts for Wiger to try
Atchafalaya was the best brunch I’ve ever had. You’ll need a reservation probably You must get charbroiled oysters at some point. The ones I had at Acme Oyster House were unreal
