I genuinely hope Mitch is successful in Hollywood but if his career tanks because he accosts Chris Pratt over a Doritos Taco feud from 3+ years ago that is also very funny

Hey ticket is still available btw and looks like it will be remaining so. If you want it, it’s yours. Otherwise I’m gonna have to take to Twitter and try to get them to RT me lol
It's very weird to me that Tool is advertising their album on HDTGP and also that they think the album being 80 minutes long is a selling point
IIRC Maynard was friends with the Mr. Show crowd in the 90s so it’s no surprise he reaches out to Earwolf. Also, when Metallica’s Load came out, there was a sticker that said the album clocked in at 65 minutes, the maximum amount of time for audio on a CD at the time
I got the run time wrong, for some reason 65 stuck in my head but on wikipedia it's 78:59 minutes "With the CD length at 78:59, initial pressings of the album were affixed with stickers boasting of its long playtime, simply reading "78:59". "The Outlaw Torn" had to be shortened by about one minute to fit on the album; the full version of the track was released on the single "The Memory Remains" as "The Outlaw Torn (Unencumbered by Manufacturing Restrictions Version)", with a running time of 10:48. An explanation on the single's back cover stated: When we were doing the final sequencing of the 'LOAD' album, the record company told us that we couldn't go a second past 78:59, or your CD's wouldn't play without potentially skipping. With our 14 songs, we were running about 30 seconds over, and something had to give, so the cool-ass jam at the end of 'Outlaw' got chopped."
Wow. Can't believe I never knew this. I was OBSESSED with Metallica for a good 15-20 years. I actually have that single, but probably bought it just as a collector and never even listened to it. Gonna have to pull it out when I get home tonight.
Unrelated to that, I thought today’s Double was pretty dull. Nick was in a bad mood. They pretty forgot to plug the guest’s book or say who he was, besides having a name similar to Adam Sandler. Guess they can’t all be great!
You think Nick is in a bad mood because of the complications from Mitch's movie role? It is probably creating a lot of headaches for them plus more work now that they can't bank the episodes from this week.
