I was gonna go try the Popeye's sandwich so I Googled to see where the closest location was and this came up...

I went to get one last night and both my locations had lines around the building/out the door lol

 

I went Monday and had no problem, I got another one today with a coworker and there was a massive line and a wait for the sandwiches.

Still really good tho.

 

I went Monday when it opened and had no problem. Today, it was wrapped around the building all night.

I had no problem getting Popeyes this week.


Also, I'm all about the idea of the Impossible Burger, but why did it have to be BK? Wiger said it's the number 2 chain, which is crazy to me, because I don't know anyone that goes there. Can you imagine the Earth benefit if McD's got it, and a lot of people switched to it?

I haven't eaten beef for over 5 years now because of what Wiger said in the intro. Sure animal abuse is bad and that should be a reason to stop, but the main reason was because of what it does to the Earth.

I went to Popeyes yesterday figuring I'd finally give the sandwich a try and they were sold out of it. Went to a second one and they were also sold out of it. Was pretty cool.

It's my fault, really. I should have tried it a month ago when it wasn't a meme yet. Never imagined this would happen tbh.
