A restaurant here in Long Beach got caught selling Popeyes chicken as their own so Popeyes decided to launch their chicken sandwich at the restaurant. It's a pretty hilarious story and the lady decided to own it instead of deny it. Although I keep hearing it's actually closed now.

 

It lives and exceeds the hype. There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism, but at least I can finally say goodbye to Chick Fil A.

I can’t say how happy I am to get a great chicken sandwich without someone telling me it’s their pleasure.

 

I don't know if it's just the ones around me, but Popeyes is kind of gross and dirty, which is why I never go there. Like I said, I've eaten probably 5 times in my adult life. Chick fil A by me is new, clean, both inside and out.

 

Have you tried Chikn in Oakland yet? I've heard good things and the sandwiches look super good

the cajun gravy at Popeyes is underrated af

 

popeyes sandwich is good but it's no comparison to chik fil a, zaxbys or bojangles. its a really good sandwich for a family chicken meal place. but those other places only do sandwiches and tenders for a reason haha

that being said bojangles fucking rules man. granted, it basically runs the city, but the biscuits are life

Popeye's is great because they keep their prices low. They make better chicken for cheaper.
