Yeah, I don't understand why he doesn't just put a small rug or something in the door way of the litter room, so when the cats walk out, it rubs off on the rug instead of the whole house. So gross.

 

we have mats in front of the litter boxes and our cats wipe their feet off on them like a person would lol

 

I know people that have mats around the litter box and there's still litter around the house but not in their bed haha. Usually just the room the litter box is in or so.

 

We don't have a mat, but our cats don't track it past the bathroom that their litter pan is in. I just make an effort to sweep once a day.

My cat throws litter everywhere but we have it confined to a small 4'x4' area in the apartment hah. Plus yes those tracking rugs do work if your cat doesnt throw it around.

It’s. Litter box over the toilet. They start using that. That pieces slowly come off until they’re just using the toilet with no litter box. My cat is pretty bad at it and still pees in the tub a lot. But with young kittens it works great.
