He was great. Yeah he leaned heavily into some of the inside bits but he geled well with them and added quite a few laughs of his own. As far as guests I wasn't familiar with pre-pod, he's near the top.
That's pretty insulting to Matt, I enjoy his appearances. As a Del Taco Stan this was disappointing, but I can see why it wouldn't perform as well as others in the tournament. Objectively none of them hold a candle to Poquito Mas and it shouldn't be in the tournament. In the context of this show a Qdoba / Taco Bell / Del Taco finale is the most interesting even though we all know Taco Bell takes it.
It shouldn't count. Super excited for tonight. Nicole is a wild card. It'll be weird not knowing how the final Fat Chance Kitchen turned out before seeing Finals.
A Gordita is neighter a taco nor a burrito so unless they're opening it up to everything on the menu shouldn't be allowed.
CGC is a double-decker taco. Just because one of the shells is a flatbread doesn’t change that. Actual gorditas look nothing like that.
Too Mitch’s point, that Qdoba Taco both Nick and Mitch got is basically a pulled pork CGC so there’s precedent within the tournament itself
none of this matters, this whole tournament is silly and any semblance of integrity fucks it up I just hope Taco Bell loses cause Mitch is obviously biased and its fun to watch him whine
it’s ridiculous, but there is so much stuff that i consume that i don’t care about reading spoilers for. most stuff, i’d say. i try to avoid them for everything and rarely seek them out but if i stumble upon one it rarely upsets me at all. but i’m avoiding spoilers for this like the fuckin plague and will go on a rampage if any are forced in front of me
Won't spoil anything, but it was a fun show. I will say I hate comedy clubs and think they fit much better in a theater. They packed it so tight I couldn't move or see and the food made me sick.
"Nick, I found out from my Ancestry.com, that some of my family did come over because of the potato famine." "And also, they caused the potato famine... They had to flee the mobs."
also, I've never been to either, but from a narrative standpoint, Del Taco should have made it out of Fat Chance Kitchen over Poquito Mas
