This place is my favorite. 25 locations in NJ only (for now) but I feel like they're constantly expanding. I grew up five minutes from the original location. Bubbakoo's Burritos - Bubbakoos Burritos
First location opened in 2008 in a small strip attached to a Jersey Mike's, been going there ever since. In fact, I had Bubbakoo's before I had Chipotle or Qdoba or Moe's around where I grew up. I didn't have any of that stuff until I went to college. Still like Bubbakoo's best. It's been really awesome to watch them grow.
used to love Chipotle but the more I think about it I don't think I've ever had like, an exceptional burrito there.
I always thought a great idea for an upcharge at one of those BYO burrito places would be to charge a dollar or two extra to mix all the ingredients in a bowl before making the burrito. That way you don't have bites that are all sour cream followed by bites that are all rice and meat. I know it would hold the lines up, but honestly I'd be way more tempted to pay for that upcharge than for guac.
Been going to Dos Toros a lot lately, not a ton of locations but it’s good Also Torchys in Texas was very impressive
Heard of this place a fair amount but never gone. Might have to check it out next time I'm in the city.
i prefer Moe’s over Chipotle and am routinely roasted for what i’m told is an objectively bad opinion but Chipotle is so fuckin bland to me. those two and Taco Bell are really all we have around here
Oh I don't like that, I like every bite being different. When I get a bowl I don't mix it together. I just fork out each bite exactly how it lies when they make it
Moe's is definitely solid/better than Qdoba. It's the place I frequent most for chain Mexican. I just have fond memories of Qdoba because it closed in my hometown haha
Sofritas burrito bowl at chipotle is my usual go to order and is always really tasty. Torchy’s is great aswell, although I have only had that once for breakfast tacos in Denver.
