it's so weird listening to some of the earlier episodes, especially like 1-20. like a completely different podcast.
I don’t understand why they bust ass to stockpile so many episodes before the holidays when they take weeks off anyway
I would guess it’s bevause the spoonman leaves for weeks at a time and burger boy hates it so he wants to prep more than usual
throwing a full, unopened can of soup and a super soaker filled with cola leads me to believe Wiger has never seen a food fight
Just got an email for the Golden Plate Club. They have upcoming unannounced shows in Chicago (3/1), Huntsville, AL (4/10) and Nashville (4/11), if anyone is near there.
I’ve kind of just resigned myself to the fact that they’ll never come back to the East Coast. So I’m flying out to San Francisco to see them lol
damn! sounds sick. have fun. very jealous. i saw The Boys out here this summer so I'll live off that until they come out here
First time out to the west coast, so I’m looking forward to it. Going to do my best to get a question in.
It's weird that they're really leaning into the live shows when Wiger supposedly hates it. Also, some of the cities they're going to seem like odd choices.
Waffle House, Cook Out, probably Portillo's for Chicago. I'd love for them to try the Cinnamon biscuits at Bojangles, one of the best fast food deserts I've ever had.
Yeah they’re definitely going to the South to finally try Waffle House. Cook Out is another solid guess
I remember the first time Hodgman was on The Daily Show promoting The Areas of My Expertise. I watched the episode when it originally aired and thought he was so funny I went out and got the book. Been a fan ever since. It’s crazy to see how far he’s come in the time in terms of becoming a beloved comedian and personality.
when John said he had 10 minutes til boarding and i saw there was 22 minutes of the pod left, i got major secondhand anxiety. white-knuckle podcasting.
