The combination of it being out of the left-field and him seeming like an idiot makes me curious to see how the episode turns out, to be honest.
To be fair when I was that age I made a bunch of dumb fucking jokes. Then again I wasn't given a platform for them.
Isn't he on the autism spectrum? I heard that before and never really got down with everyone shitting on the kid. A lot of comedians tend to ironically retweet his stuff
Seriously. I'm glad no one cared about what I was saying before I turned 20 because I was such a shitty person. I can't imagine growing up in the public eye.
Haven't ever seen anything about that. Google returned some guy on a forum called "hipinion" saying he's "fairly certain he's autistic" and then Brandon Wardell saying he's "literally an autistic child", but I don't know how much stock to put in those claims.
Those tweets were bad, but like others have said, he's a child. As long as Mitch and Nick are on the show, I'll listen regardless of the guest.
I kind of remember Nick and Mitch having a conversation about him on an early episode. So maybe not totally out of left field? Even though most guests on Doughboys that I've never heard of end up coming off as great, I'm definitely skeptical about this one.
I guess I should give Steak N Shake another chance after hearing that episode. I've never been a fan of anything there besides the prices.
Steak N Shake is over rated imo. I've had some good meals there, but I'd never go out of my way to eat there. It is super cheap though.
The shoestring fries make me irrationally angry. Those things suck. Definitely not a place worthy of a unanimous five fork rating
Holy shit, in the first episode of Tournament of Chompions when Mitch is telling his saxophone story and Wiger fucking burns him so hard...I almost choked on a cherry I was eating. God, I fucking love this podcast
I don't hate the shoestring fries, but yeah, it's definitely not a 5 fork place. Probably more like 3 forks, maybe 4 on it's best day. I feel the same way about In & Out though. I don't think it's very good at all, and the fries are the absolutely worst fries I've ever had in my life.
I go back and forth with In N Out. It is about on par with Whataburger. I think I like their fries? I think they severely overrate Wendy's though, it's nowhere near the top tier of fast food burgers
I prefer Wendy's and Whataburger to In & Out personally. None of them are 5 fork places, but I think Wendy's does a fairly good job most of the time, but I will say that certain locations can really suck too. Kind of the problem with most chains.
I'll back Mitch in saying the Wendy's spicey chicken sandwich is one of the best sandwiches in the game, but yeah. The rest of their stuff is just alright.
I've think I've ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich exclusively since I listened to that episode. It is a really great sandwich, but I think it could use cheese or something. It's sometimes lacking something that I can quite put my finger on.
